New extension of the Digital Work Card
Which sectors are included and the schedules?
The Chamber of Etoloakarnania informs its member businesses as well as any interested parties about the new, gradual expansion of the Digital Job Card in additional sectors of the economy, which was announced by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
The process will take place in two new phases of pilot implementation, during which there will be consultation with the sectors to optimize the measure and adapt it to the specific needs of each activity.
Please check if your business falls under the new timelines:
Phase 1 of expansion
The first phase of the new expansion will be piloted by the June 2 to October 11, 2026The following sectors are included in this phase:
- Human health activities (hospitals, treatment and diagnostic centers), excluding physicians
- Employment support activities
- Telecommunications
- Individual service sectors, such as hair salons, beauty centers and dry cleaners
- Service activities in buildings and outdoor areas, mainly cleaning services.
Second phase of expansion
The second phase of expansion will be piloted by the June 29 to November 15, 2026This phase includes:
- Consulting services, advertising and other office activities
- Repair industry
- Storage and transportation support activities (logistics)
- Water and wastewater management
- Games of chance.
